Supporting South Florida's Critical Infrastructure Since 2000

For more than two decades, Madsen Barr Corporation has helped South Florida municipalities maintain the underground infrastructure that communities rely on every day. As a family-owned underground utility contractor, we specialize in water and wastewater system maintenance, repairs, emergency response, and municipal infrastructure support—delivering dependable service with safety, precision, and accountability at the forefront.

Built on Experience. Driven by Reliability.

The original Madsen Barr was established in 1980 by partners John Barr and Bob Madsen, swiftly rising to prominence as a national leader in underground utility rehabilitation and U-Liner installations. Their dedication to innovation, safety, and customer satisfaction garnered them widespread recognition within the industry, including a feature in Trenchless Technology magazine in 1994. Eventually, the company was sold to investors for millions, enabling both founders to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.

Today, Madsen Barr Corporation is a family-owned underground utility contractor serving municipalities throughout South Florida. Led by partners John Barr and Nick Erro, we have built our reputation on dependable service, quality workmanship, and a commitment to keeping critical water and wastewater infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.

Our team specializes in water and wastewater maintenance, utility repairs, emergency response services, and municipal infrastructure support. By combining decades of industry experience with a focus on safety, communication, and accountability, we help cities minimize disruptions and maintain reliable systems that serve their communities for years to come.
